Morning Preparations
The day starts early at Richard’s AC Company, usually before the sun rises. By 6:30 AM, I’m already checking my service schedule and loading up the van with essential tools and replacement parts for the day ahead.
First Calls
My first stop today is in Clarksburg, where a family’s heating system needs attention. Winter in West Virginia can be unforgiving, so we prioritize heating emergencies. After diagnosing and fixing a faulty thermostat, I’m off to Bridgeport for routine maintenance on a commercial HVAC system.
Midday Rush
The afternoon brings multiple calls across our service area:
• Emergency AC repair in Buckhannon
• Preventive maintenance in Jane Lew
• Heating system inspection in Fairmont
Customer Education
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is educating customers about their HVAC systems. Today, I spent time showing a Fairmont homeowner how to properly maintain their air filters and recognize early warning signs of system issues.
End of Day
As the sun sets, I complete my final service call in Clarksburg. Before heading back to headquarters, I ensure all paperwork is complete and my van is restocked for tomorrow’s adventures in keeping our community comfortable.
Why We Do It
Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to help our neighbors maintain comfortable, safe homes. Whether it’s battling summer heat or winter chills, we’re proud to serve our West Virginia communities with reliable HVAC services.
