Morning Briefing – 6:30 AM
The sun hasn’t fully risen over Southwest Oklahoma as I pull into our service headquarters parking lot. The morning starts with our team huddle, where we review the day’s scheduled installations and emergency calls from overnight. Coffee in hand, we check our fully-stocked trucks, ensuring we have all the necessary parts and tools for the day ahead.
First Call – 8:00 AM
Summer in Oklahoma means our phones are constantly ringing. Today’s first stop is a routine maintenance check in Lawton. These preventative services are crucial – they help our customers avoid costly breakdowns during those scorching summer days when temperatures soar past 100°F.
Emergency Response – 11:30 AM
Between scheduled appointments, we receive an urgent call about a failed AC unit at a local senior living facility. These situations remind us why we maintain our rapid response protocol. The satisfaction of restoring comfort to our community’s elderly residents makes this job incredibly rewarding.
Lunch Break – 1:00 PM
A quick break to refuel and review the afternoon schedule. Our dispatch team keeps us updated on any new service requests while we grab a bite to eat.
Afternoon Installation – 2:00 PM
The bulk of our afternoon involves installing a new energy-efficient system for a growing family. We take pride in explaining the operation and maintenance requirements to ensure our customers get the most from their investment.
End of Day – 5:30 PM
Before heading home, we:
– Complete service documentation
– Restock trucks for tomorrow
– Review tomorrow’s schedule
– Share feedback with our team
Every day brings different challenges, but our commitment to maintaining comfortable environments for Southwest Oklahoma residents remains constant. It’s more than just fixing AC units – it’s about building lasting relationships with the communities we serve.
No day is exactly the same in the HVAC world, but that’s exactly what makes this profession so engaging and fulfilling.
